      • Shale gas and tight oil production have disrupted energy markets. Production in the United States, largely stagnant one decade ago, is now at record levels. This turn of fortune in the US energy space has been related to a number of factors including petroleum geology, technological innovation, and oil prices. This panel, with guests coming from a variety of backgrounds, will dive deep into all of these factors. We expect a wide-ranging discussion of events leading up to the “shale boom”, as well as what we might expect going forward.
